Podcast Studio Technician

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Studio Technician to manage and support our in-house podcast and studio production setup. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in camera setup, studio equipment handling, lighting, audio management, and podcast production operations.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment and ensuring smooth execution of shoots and recordings.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and studio equipment
- Manage podcast recording sessions and ensure high-quality audio/video output
- Handle camera placement, framing, angles, and studio arrangements professionally
- Monitor audio levels, lighting balance, and recording quality during shoots
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to cameras, sound systems, and studio equipment
- Ensure studio equipment is maintained, organized, and functioning properly
- Support live recordings, interviews, podcasts, and internal media productions
- Assist in basic editing, file management, and media backups when required
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of camera operations and studio setup
- Experience in podcast production and recording environments
- Understanding of lighting techniques and audio equipment
- Familiarity with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, microphones, mixers, and studio accessories
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple studio tasks efficiently
- Good communication and coordination skills
Eligibility Criteria
- 2–3years of relevant studio/podcast production experience
- Previous experience in podcast studios, media production houses, or content studios preferred
- Candidates based in Bangalore preferred .
