Job Summary:
The Branch Customer Support Executive is responsible for delivering foreign exchange and remittance services in compliance with RBI guidelines and FEMA regulations. The role ensures accurate transaction processing, strict adherence to KYC/AML norms, and high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Forex Delivery
· Assist customers with buying/selling foreign currency for travel, education, medical, business visits, etc.
· Handle issuance, reload, and encashment of Forex/Prepaid Travel Cards.
· Guide customers on required documents as per RBI & FEMA guidelines.
· Provide real-time exchange rate information and regulatory updates.
2. Regulatory Compliance (RBI / FEMA)
· Ensure strict adherence to RBI Master Directions on Money Changing Activities.
· Verify and process transactions under FEMA guidelines.
· Conduct full KYC as per RBI AML/CFT norms.
· Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and escalate to Compliance Officer.
3. Documentation & Audit Control
· Maintain proper records of:
· Passport & Visa copies
· PAN verification
· LRS declarations
· Form A2 and supporting documents
4. Cash & Currency Management
· Handle INR and foreign currency transactions.
· Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
5. Sales & Cross-Selling Support
· Support achievement of branch sales targets.
· Cross-sell forex-related products (travel cards, remittance services, etc.).
· Educate customers about value-added services.
Required Qualifications:Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
· 1–3 years of experience in forex, banking, NBFC, or financial services.
· Experience in handling customer-facing operational roles preferred.
