COPADO Expert / Architect - Job Description
Location: Kochi / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Kolkata
Work Experience: 10 Years +
The Copado Expert will lead and optimize the end-to-end Salesforce DevOps process using Copado. This includes setting up scalable pipelines, enforcing governance, integrating automation, and mentoring junior Copado engineers.
Design and implement Copado CI/CD strategy and pipeline architecture
Establish and enforce branching, merging, and deployment best practices
Integrate Copado with automated testing and quality gates
Configure Compliance Hub and monitor release governance
Lead large-scale, multi-org Salesforce deployments
Mentor Copado engineers and support capability building
Should be well versed in impact assessments
Should be able to drive the discussion with business/client stakeholders
Should have the ability to define the right product and tools.
4–6+ years in Salesforce deployments and DevOps
2+ years of advanced hands-on experience with Copado
Strong Git and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
Proficiency in Copado features (Pipelines, Promotions, Compliance, Back Promotions)
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Define lifecycle standards, review story health, and enforce process best practices
Oversee deployment governance, troubleshoot high-risk deployments, and establish rollback protocols
Define Git branching strategies, set up conflict detection rules, and train teams
Design and optimize multi-org/multi-stream pipelines; enforce promotion policies
Manage complex environment architecture; standardize environment usage.
Perform Copado Deployer Package Upgrade.
Configure Compliance Hub, set up quality gates, and define audit trail policies to ensure governance and traceability across deployments.
Review UAT and Production manual changes reports and enforce best practices to prevent manual changes in any environment.
Review and approve deployment requests in accordance with release standards and readiness checks.
Monitor deployment promotions and provide support resolving critical/Blocker deployment errors.
Recommend process improvements.
Ensure Production deployment access is allocated to the appropriate DevOps Engineer, Copado Engineer, or Tech Lead ahead of the scheduled deployment window.
Create Copado Case if required for deployment issues.
Should be proactive communicator
Excellent Oral and Email communication skills.
Experience in Agile Process and Scrum Experience
Should be able to mentor junior team members
Should be able to review the setup, pipelines and align with Technical Landscape.
Train engineers, document advanced use cases, and lead tool adoption across teams
