- Develop innovative architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, construction drawings, and detailed execution plans.
- Create 3D models, presentations, and design visualizations for client approvals.
- Coordinate with interior designers, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and project managers.
- Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements and present design proposals.
- Prepare area statements, design specifications, and project documentation.
- Review and approve architectural drawings before execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings.
- Resolve design and construction-related issues during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local building bye-laws, safety standards, and construction regulations.
- Coordinate with government authorities for approvals and documentation whenever required.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and budget compliance.
- Guide and mentor junior architects and design team members.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of architectural planning and building design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Good working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, and 3ds Max (preferred).
- Experience with rendering software such as V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape is an advantage.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and architectural detailing.
- Ability to prepare working drawings and construction documentation.
- Strong site coordination and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized university.
- Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in residential and commercial architectural projects.
