Position: Facility Manager
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Experience: 5–8 Years
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
Role Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of facilities across assigned locations. The role involves managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, vendor coordination, statutory compliance, budgeting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day facility operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance and repair of buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Manage CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance work.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and recommend improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and asset life.
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, firefighting systems, lifts, and other facility services.
Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare annual maintenance plans, cost estimates, and facility budgets.
- Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and vendor performance.
- Track inventory, assets, and maintenance records.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records related to fire safety, building compliance, and regulatory inspections.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure business continuity measures are in place.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and vendors for maintenance and facility-related projects.
- Monitor service quality and ensure timely completion of work.
- Review contractor bills and verify work completion as per agreed scope.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities, budgets, facility performance, and key operational metrics.
- Analyze maintenance trends and implement process improvements.
- Maintain documentation related to facilities, assets, and compliance.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments and management teams regarding facility requirements.
- Address operational issues and ensure timely resolution of facility-related concerns.
- Provide technical guidance and support for facility operations.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
