- Take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the hotel.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Engineering, Security, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing and other departments.
- Maintain 4-star service standards, operational procedures and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor daily operations through departmental briefings, inspections and management meetings.
- Ensure all departments achieve their operational and financial targets.
- Prepare and monitor the hotel's annual budget, operating plan and revenue targets.
- Control operational expenses without compromising guest service.
- Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, food cost, beverage cost and departmental profitability.
- Review daily revenue reports and monthly financial statements.
- Work closely with Finance to control purchasing, inventory, payroll and other expenses.
- Identify new revenue opportunities across rooms, restaurants, banquet operations and bar.
- Ensure professional operation of restaurants, bars, banquets, room service and other F&B outlets.
- Monitor food quality, service standards, presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Control food and beverage costs and minimize wastage.
- Review menus, pricing, promotions and F&B revenue performance.
- Ensure proper inventory control and stock reconciliation.
- Take overall responsibility for the safe, legal and profitable operation of the hotel bar.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable liquor licence conditions and government regulations.
- Monitor liquor purchasing, receiving, storage, issuing and daily stock reconciliation.
- Ensure proper control of bar opening/closing stock, wastage, breakage and complimentary issues.
- Monitor beverage cost and ensure appropriate pricing and margins.
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and prevent service to intoxicated or underage guests.
- Coordinate with Security and F&B teams to maintain discipline and safety in bar areas.
- Personally monitor VIP/VVIP arrivals, special occasions, complaints and service recovery.
- Ensure guest feedback is reviewed and corrective action is taken.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, courtesy and professionalism.
- Develop strong relationships with regular guests, corporate clients and key business partners.
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to achieve room, F&B and banquet revenue targets.
- Develop corporate, wedding, MICE and group business.
- Maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporates and local businesses.
- Support promotional campaigns and hotel events.
- Monitor competitor pricing, facilities and market trends.
- Lead, motivate and develop the hotel management team and staff.
- Participate in recruitment, selection and performance evaluation of key employees.
- Ensure proper staff training, grooming and professional conduct.
- Monitor manpower requirements, productivity, attendance and discipline.
- Conduct regular departmental and management meetings.
- Build a positive and service-oriented work culture.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, restaurants, public areas, kitchen, bars and back-of-house areas.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and 4-star standards.
- Implement quality assurance programmes and corrective actions.
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback platforms.
- Ensure consistent service standards across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, food safety, health & hygiene, labour, licensing and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular fire and emergency preparedness checks.
- Ensure proper security procedures for guests, employees and hotel property.
- Maintain required licences, permits, certificates and statutory records.
- Coordinate with government authorities and inspection agencies when required.
- Ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of the property.
- Monitor Engineering and Maintenance activities.
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, kitchen equipment, bar equipment and hotel facilities remain operational.
- Protect hotel assets and minimize unnecessary repair and replacement costs.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
- Conduct daily operational briefings and regular HOD meetings.
- Report hotel performance, challenges and achievements to the Owner/MD.
- Develop and implement SOPs, policies and operational procedures.
- Handle critical operational issues and make timely management decisions.
- Develop strategies to increase hotel profitability and market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, guests, suppliers, corporate clients and business partners.
- Represent the hotel at business meetings, industry events and important functions.
- Protect and enhance the hotel's reputation and brand image.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
