Prayas is inviting applications from dynamic and result-oriented professionals for the position of Center Manager to manage and strengthen government-supported skill development and vocational training centers.
This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in successfully operating centers under flagship schemes such as:
- DDU-GKY
- PMKVY
- DAY-NULM
- NSDC-affiliated programs
- State Skill Missions
- Other Government Skill Development Projects
Position
Center Manager – Skill Development Programs
Location
Delhi NCR / Other Project Locations as per organizational requirement
Experience Required
Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in managing skill development centers under Government-funded projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management and smooth functioning of training centers
- Mobilization planning and achievement of enrolment targets
- Coordination with SSCs, NSDC, State Skill Missions and Government departments
- Monitoring training quality, attendance, assessments and certification processes
- Managing trainers, counsellors, placement coordinators and center staff
- Ensuring compliance with SOPs, audits, biometric attendance, CCTV, MIS and documentation requirements
- Handling inspections, monitoring visits and reporting
- Driving placements, employer tie-ups and candidate tracking
- Community outreach and stakeholder engagement
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in running successful DDUGKY / PMKVY / Government skill centers
- Strong understanding of skill ecosystem guidelines and compliance requirements
- Experience in center operations, mobilization, placements, and MIS
- Good communication, leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve project targets
- Preference will be given to candidates with multi-location operational experience
Qualification
Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline
Preference for candidates with experience in Skill Development, Education, Social Sector or Livelihood Projects.
