At Columbia Sportswear, our Digital Technology (CDT) team plays a critical role in enabling global operations through robust, scalable systems. We are seeking a Senior Software Analyst to join our Finance Technology team. This role is ideal for a hands-on analyst with 5–8 years of experience who specializes in system configuration, operational execution, and solution delivery within enterprise finance platforms, with strong experience supporting SAP ECC AFS and helping shape the transition to SAP S/4HANA and long-term S/4 operational support.
Own the configuration and setup of finance and accounting systems, including SAP ECC AFS, SAP S/4HANA, D365, Sovos , Ariba, and Concur, ensuring alignment with business requirements, compliance standards, and global process design.
Deliver functional solutions by translating business needs into SAP and enterprise finance configurations, workflows, and integrations that are scalable, supportable, and ready for both current-state ECC AFS operations and future-state S/4HANA capabilities.
Enable resilient business systems by supporting enhancements, patches, upgrades, and S/4 transformation activities, ensuring minimal disruption to finance and accounting operations.
Lead operational delivery of application support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and functional issue triage across SAP ECC AFS, SAP S/4HANA, and connected finance platforms.
Perform hands-on testing of system changes, including integration, regression, functional user testing (FUT), and S/4 readiness or migration validation activities.
Document and maintain system configurations, process flows, support procedures, and future-state design decisions to ensure operational continuity, audit readiness, and long-term S/4 supportability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, accounting, supply chain, architecture, integration, data, and engineering) to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions across ECC AFS, S/4HANA, and related enterprise finance systems.
Contribute to agile delivery , including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups, with a focus on delivering high-impact, configuration-driven solutions aligned to finance transformation and S/4 adoption milestones.
Support data integrity and reporting by ensuring accurate data flows between systems, assisting with data validation and reconciliation processes, and identifying impacts to finance master data and reporting during the S/4 transformation.
