Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage finance and accounting activities for our project at Dholera, Gujarat. The role will be responsible for project accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, budgeting, cash-flow management, vendor/contractor payments, and coordination with the corporate finance team.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of project finance, construction/infrastructure accounting, GST, TDS, audits, MIS, and financial controls.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Finance & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the Dholera project.
- Maintain accurate project-wise books of accounts and financial records.
- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and cost estimates.
- Prepare monthly project P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow statements, and MIS reports.
- Track project costs, commitments, advances, and outstanding liabilities.
- Monitor working capital and project cash-flow requirements.
Billing & Commercial Finance
- Review contractor, subcontractor, supplier, and service-provider bills.
- Verify supporting documents, work completion certificates, purchase orders, and contractual terms.
- Coordinate with the project/commercial team for timely processing of bills and payments.
- Monitor advances, retention money, security deposits, and recoveries.
- Review project variations, claims, and financial implications where required.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Review GST invoices, input tax credit, reconciliations, and project-related tax matters.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and statutory authorities when required.
- Ensure proper documentation for tax assessments and audits.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and project audits.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and supporting records.
- Implement and monitor financial controls at the project site.
- Identify financial risks, control gaps, and potential cost leakages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly management reports and project dashboards.
- Provide variance analysis against budget and previous periods.
- Highlight major cost overruns, cash-flow issues, outstanding receivables/payables, and other financial risks.
- Support senior management in financial decision-making.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Head, Procurement, Contracts, Commercial, Stores, HR/Admin, Corporate Finance, and external auditors.
- Work closely with HO finance for consolidation and reporting.
- Support management in project-related financial planning and decision-making.
Qualification
- CA – Chartered Accountant, preferably from ICAI.
- Candidates with CA + relevant project/construction finance experience will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
Experience
- 3–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, EPC, industrial, real-estate, or large project environments will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience handling finance independently at a project/site location will be preferred.
Required Skills

- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar.

Preferred Candidate Profile
A qualified CA with 3–8 years of experience in project finance, EPC, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects, who can independently manage the finance and accounting function at the Dholera project site
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
