Job responsibilities
As a member of Hardware – Physical Design team, the Engineer will be responsible for implementing block-level place & route, analyze logfiles & reports, provide feedback to the lead.
Education and experience
- BE/BTech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 4 – 6 years of relevant experience.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Experience on ASIC Physical Design: Floorplanning, P&R, Timing closure, Physical Verification are essential part of the job.
- Well versed with Cadence tools is important.
- Experience with Static Timing Analysis in Tempus is important.
- Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as PERL, TCL is important.
- Timing closure on high-speed interfaces is a plus.
- Knowledge on Hierarchical Physical Design flow is beneficial.
- Good ASIC fundamentals and problem-solving skills is preferred.
MANDATORY SKILLS
- Experience with Cadence Innovus.
