Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas while delivering excellent guest service. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change bed linen, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Clean bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, floors, and furniture.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize guest rooms and corridors.
- Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, tea/coffee amenities, and drinking water.
- Ensure all rooms are ready before guest check-in time.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests politely and respond promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, corridors, elevators, and back-of-house areas when assigned.
- Follow Lost & Found procedures and report any items left by guests.
- Ensure proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and infection control standards.
- Work closely with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12th Pass or Diploma in Hotel Management
- Degree in Hotel Management is an added advantage.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of housekeeping experience in hotels or the hospitality industry will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Basic communication skills in English or Hindi
- Good grooming and personal hygiene.
- Attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties.
- Customer service orientation.
