Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated In-Charge Nurse to lead our Oncology Nursing Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining clinical and operational standards within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities in the Oncology Department.
- Ensure safe administration of chemotherapy and oncology-related treatments as per protocols.
- Monitor patient care standards and ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality guidelines.
- Guide, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Coordinate with consultants, clinicians, and allied healthcare professionals for effective patient management.
- Ensure proper documentation, medication management, and infection control practices.
- Handle patient and attendant concerns in a professional manner.
- Manage duty rosters, manpower allocation, and departmental resources.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid RNC (Rajasthan Nursing Council) Registration.
- Minimum 6 years of nursing experience, preferably in Oncology.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team-leading role will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and patient-care skills.
