Senior Accountant Executive – Job Description :
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and bank reconciliation.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, professional tax, and other statutory compliances, including timely return filing and payment coordination.
- Prepare and verify invoices, purchase bills, payment vouchers, debit/credit notes, and other financial documents.
- Monitor customer outstanding, vendor payments, receivables, payables, and collection schedules and ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, clients, banks, auditors, and internal departments regarding financial and accounting matters.
- Maintain proper accounting records for interior projects, manufacturing operations, material purchases, project expenses, and job-wise costing.
- Prepare project-wise cost statements, profitability reports, MIS reports, expense analysis, and management reports as required.
- Verify material purchase bills, transport charges, labour expenses, project expenses, and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Assist management in budgeting, cost control, financial planning, cash-flow management, and variance analysis.
- Conduct periodic stock and inventory reconciliation in coordination with the Purchase, Store, Production, and Project teams.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, audit readiness, internal controls, and compliance with company accounting policies.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and schedules.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, control financial risks, and ensure accuracy, transparency, and confidentiality of financial information.
- Provide timely and accurate financial data to management to support business decisions, project planning, and overall financial performance.
- Supervise junior accounting staff, review their work, and ensure timely completion of assigned accounting activities.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability in all financial operations.
Preferred: Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP, MS Excel, GST & TDS compliance, project/job costing, MIS reporting, and accounting practices applicable to interior designing and manufacturing businesses.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
