We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Engineer to manage project billing, measurement verification, quantity estimation, and client/vendor billing activities. The candidate will ensure accurate preparation of bills, monitor project costs, and coordinate with site teams to maintain proper documentation and financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit client bills based on work completed at site.
Verify quantities executed as per drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
Prepare RA Bills (Running Account Bills) and final bills.
Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for measurement records.
Maintain billing registers, invoices, and project documentation.
Track project progress and compare actual quantities with BOQ quantities.
Prepare subcontractor and vendor bills for payment processing.
Assist in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budgeting activities.
Reconcile material consumption and project expenditures.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and billing procedures.
Support project audits and financial reporting requirements.
Resolve billing discrepancies with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
1–5 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or construction project management.
Freshers with strong knowledge of estimation and billing may also apply.
Required Skills
Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing software.
Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Good documentation and reporting abilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP systems and project management software.
Knowledge of contract management and cost control.
Familiarity with government and private construction billing standards.
