We are looking for a candidate with 6–8 years of experience who can provide technical support to clients and assist in diagnosing and resolving VoIP-related issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
What You Will Work On

Manage, administer, and maintain Linux-based systems and Asterisk telephony platforms supporting business communication services.

Install, configure, and support VoIP systems, including SIP trunk setup and multi-site connectivity.

Assist in the integration of new hardware and software components within the communication infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system issues, VoIP connectivity problems, and telephony-related incidents.

Deploy and manage SIP trunks across various communication systems ensuring reliable voice services.

Work with PBX platforms such as FreePBX, CUCM, and Pure Asterisk.

Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Collaborate with internal teams to support, optimize, and enhance telephony and communication systems.

Proven experience working with Asterisk or other VoIP applications in production environments.

Strong knowledge of Linux systems, preferably Ubuntu or other Debian-based distributions, with good command-line (CLI) experience.

Good understanding of Asterisk architecture and related add-on modules.

Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies, including SIP, IP-PBX, and PSTN services, with familiarity in Asterisk dial plans.

Strong understanding of telecommunication concepts and SIP protocol, including practical implementation.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PHP, with working knowledge of Perl or Python.

Experience VoIP termination protocols including SIP, IAX, and H.323.

Strong experience in VoIP and network troubleshooting, preferably with Asterisk-based systems.

Ability to build, customize, install, maintain, and automate system environments while maintaining organized operational practices.

Experience of Web technologies such as Web Services, HTML, and XML.

Knowledge of system and appliance security practices, including securing Linux and VoIP systems.
