Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector
Location : Chikhali , Pune.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector to ensure that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet the company's quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and other quality documents.
- Identify quality issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Design teams to resolve quality issues.
- Handle customer complaints and support continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and casting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing/Fabrication industry is preferred.
