Key Responsibilities Sample Collection & Processing: Collect and prepare biological specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for analysis. Testing & Analysis: Perform various hematological, chemical, and microbiological tests using manual and automated methods. Equipment Maintenance: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure performance and accuracy. Quality Control: Follow strict SOPs and quality control protocols to ensure results meet medical standards. Data Management: Accurately record, enter, and report test results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Safety: Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT). Experience: 0–5 years (Freshers are welcome; specialized training will be provided). Technical Skills: Familiarity with lab equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, analyzers) and basic computer proficiency. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to patient confidentiality. Certification: Valid registration/certification with a state or national paramedical council is preferred.
