The Education Counsellor (Sales) / Career Development Advisor plays a pivotal role in guiding prospective learners through their academic journey. This role blends consultative counselling with strategic sales to help individuals identify the right educational programs aligned with their career goals. The advisor is responsible for driving enrolments, nurturing leads, and delivering a high-quality advisory experience that supports both student success and business growth.
- Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings to assesstheir educational and career aspirations.
- Provide clear, accurate, and personalized guidance on available programs, coursestructures, and career outcomes.
- Support applicants through the entire enrolment process, from initial inquiry to finalregistration.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective leadconversion.
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions, follow-ups, and status updates usingCRM tools.
- Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to refine outreach strategies and stayahead in the market.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Business, or Marketingpreferred).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, academic counselling, or student advisory roles forOn line higher education ,categorically online degree counselling.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital education trends is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., LSQ, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a results-driven mindset.
