About the Role-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Accountant with 1 year of relevant experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, statutory compliances, and bookkeeping practices, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities-
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and record financial transactions accurately. Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and bank entries. Perform bank, debtor, creditor, and ledger reconciliations. Prepare MIS reports and assist in monthly and year-end financial closing. Prepare and assist in filing GST returns and maintain GST records. Deduct, reconcile, and assist in filing TDS returns. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding payments where required. Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments by preparing necessary schedules and documents. Maintain proper accounting records and support documentation. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments for accounting and compliance-related matters. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
Required Skills-
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping. Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliances. Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel. Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) or equivalent.
Preferred Candidate Profile -
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance. Experience in handling accounting, GST, TDS, and bookkeeping. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented approach.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
