We are looking for a strong manufacturing leader to independently head and scale our Steel Fabrication Unit.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations
- Lead complete steel fabrication operations including:
- Cutting
- Bending
- Welding
- Grinding & polishing
- Assembly
- Metal finishing coordination
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per planning.
- Improve productivity, process flow, and manpower utilization.
- Monitor machine utilization and reduce downtime.
- Ensure smooth coordination between fabrication, polishing, PVD coating, and dispatch teams.
Quality Control
- Ensure premium finish quality suitable for luxury furniture products.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.
- Implement quality checkpoints across fabrication stages.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and finishing standards.
Team Management
- Handle and supervise:
- Supervisors
- Welders
- Fabricators
- Helpers
- Contractors
- Train workforce on quality and safety practices.
- Maintain discipline and productivity on the shop floor.
Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with design, sales, and project teams for production planning.
- Ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Maintain production reports and work status updates.
Process Improvement
- Develop SOPs and standardized manufacturing processes.
- Drive lean manufacturing practices.
- Improve factory layout, workflow, and operational efficiency.
- Introduce systems for tracking productivity and accountability.
Inventory & Maintenance
- Monitor raw material consumption and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with stores for material planning.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of fabrication machinery and tools.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure proper safety practices on the shop floor.
- Maintain clean and organized factory operations.
- Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8–15 years experience in steel fabrication/manufacturing.
- Strong experience in:
- Stainless steel fabrication
- TIG/MIG welding
- Luxury furniture or architectural metal work
- Sheet metal/fabrication operations
- Ability to independently run a fabrication unit.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach with operational ownership mindset.
- Experience in production planning and manpower handling.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings and execution.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
