Job Summary:
The Hospital Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient care activities, ensuring smooth communication between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments. The role includes patient counselling, admission coordination, discharge planning, handling patient concerns, and ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Guide patients and attendants regarding hospital services and treatment processes.
- Maintain proper communication between doctors, nurses, billing, and other departments.
- Ensure timely completion of patient documentation and formalities.
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments, investigations, and procedures.
- Handle patient queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and ensure quality service delivery.
- Coordinate with insurance/corporate departments for approvals and documentation.
- Ensure smooth bed management and patient flow within the hospital.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and hospital information.
- Prepare daily reports related to patient coordination and service activities.
- Support emergency handling and critical patient coordination when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
Required Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle patients and attendants politely and professionally.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Software).
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts if required.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Qualification:
- Graduate in any field (Healthcare/Hospital Management preferred).
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital operations, patient coordination, or customer service preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
