Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join Nano Technologies. The candidate will be responsible for installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Mechanical Assembly & Fitting
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly diagrams
- Assemble, fit, and align mechanical components as per specifications
- Perform drilling, grinding, tapping, and alignment work using appropriate tools
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in installation and alignment of machines and production lines
- Support engineers during trials and commissioning activities
- Ensure proper mechanical connections and standards are followed
Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery
- Identify and repair faulty or worn-out components
- Replace bearings, shafts, seals, gaskets, and couplings
Troubleshooting
- Diagnose mechanical faults, vibration issues, and misalignments
- Assist in resolving breakdowns efficiently
- Report recurring issues and suggest improvements
Production Support
- Ensure smooth functioning of mechanical equipment
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities
- Maintain lubrication, cleaning, and calibration
Safety & Compliance
- Follow PPE and safety procedures strictly
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Comply with company safety and quality standards
Documentation
- Maintain maintenance logs and work reports
- Record downtime, repairs, and material usage
- Report critical issues to supervisors
Tool Handling & Coordination
- Handle tools and equipment responsibly
- Coordinate with electricians, welders, and technicians
- Support engineers in project execution
Quality & Improvement
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards
- Check tolerances and alignment
- Suggest improvements for efficiency and performance
Requirements
- ITI in Fitter
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8,559.72 - ₹22,864.12 per month
