Role: Area Sales Manager / Cluster Manager – MSME Lending

About the Role
Capitabel is looking for an experienced MSME lending sales professional to lead business development across MSME financing.
The primary responsibility is to build partnership with MSME partners and acquire customers, build referral and channel networks to drive business growth across Business Loans / MSME Lending.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development / Partnership
- Drive sales of MSME lending products across the assigned territory.
- Generate business through partnership and direct sourcing, channel partners, Chartered Accountants, consultants, industrial associations, manufacturers, traders and existing customer referrals.
- Identify funding opportunities for business across Business/MSME Loans
- Build long-term relationships with partners and ecosystem players.
Sales Leadership
- Lead and mentor the Sales Manager(s) and field sales team.
- Coach the team on customer acquisition, prospecting, objection handling and consultative selling.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline meetings and field visits.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual business targets.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in Zoho CRM.
- Monitor lead generation, customer meetings, loan logins and sales conversions.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure smooth customer handover and an excellent customer experience.
Desired Profile
- 7–12 years of experience in SME/MSME lending sales, Business Loans, Working Capital, LAP or Commercial Lending.
- Experience with a Bank, NBFC or fintech in a sales or business development role.
- Strong understanding of MSME lending products and the financing.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and consistently achieving business targets.
- Excellent networking, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with extensive field travel and customer engagement.
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or finance qualification is preferred.
- The candidate must have a Two Wheeler and valid paperwork.

The Salary will be fixed + variable pay including benefits.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
