Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering freshers with strong fundamentals in drafting and design to join our team as AutoCAD Designers. The role involves preparing 2D drawings, updating design documentation, and supporting senior engineers in project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
- Interpret engineering sketches, models, and specifications accurately.
- Prepare detailed layouts, assembly drawings, and component drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineer/manager feedback.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, dimensioning standards, and file organization.
- Coordinate with the design and production teams for drawing clarifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
- Basic understanding of mechanical components, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.
Preferred
- Knowledge of SolidWorks / Creo / Fusion 360 is an added advantage.
- Internship or academic project experience in design/drafting.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹13,021.37 - ₹50,061.69 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
