Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer – Paint Shop with experience in the Medical Equipment/Machinery Industry. Candidate must have strong knowledge of Paint Shop quality systems, Shot Blasting, PT Line, Powder Coating, defect analysis, and coating standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete Paint Shop Quality Control activities.
- Strong knowledge of Shot Blasting process, surface preparation, cleanliness standards, and profile checking.
- Ensure proper blasting quality before painting/coating.
- Strong knowledge of PT Line (Pre-Treatment Line) process and chemical parameters.
- Inspect and control powder coating quality as per standards.
- Identify and resolve coating defects such as orange peel, pinholes, poor adhesion, uneven coating, shade variation, blistering, rusting, etc.
- Ensure dimensional tolerance after coating process.
- Check and control oven temperature / curing temperature parameters.
- Conduct SST (Salt Spray Test), adhesion test, impact test, and quality checks.
- Root cause analysis for paint rejection and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain quality records, reports, SOPs, and inspection formats.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and safety practices in Paint Shop.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical / Production / Chemical.
- Must have experience in Agriculture Machinery / Tractor / Farm Equipment Industry only.
- Hands-on experience in Paint Shop.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
