We are currently hiring for the position of Contracts Engineer for a leading Oil & Gas / Refinery project in Kuwait.
Position: Contracts Engineer
Location: Kuwait
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Contracts Engineer, primarily in maintenance and service contracts.
At least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industries.
Good command of the English language.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other related computer applications.
Good knowledge of refinery safety practices and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and control contract-related activities.
Monitor the preparation and approval of service requisitions and contracts.
Participate in pre-tender meetings, bid evaluations, and contract package preparation.
Review contract specifications, terms, and scope of work.
Verify and finalize contract documentation in accordance with company tendering procedures.
Coordinate with contractors, purchasing, commercial departments, and refinery personnel regarding contract execution.
Prepare contract status reports and maintain contract files and contractor performance records.
Review bid evaluations, award recommendations, claims, change orders, and variation orders.
