Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning: Create daily sports lessons. Align them with the school's board syllabus.
- Classroom Teaching: Teach students how to exercise, play, and live healthy lives.
- Assessments: Give written and physical tests. Grade students on their performance and participation.
- Event Management: Organize school sports days and tournaments.
- Safety: Keep a close eye on the playground. Make sure all sports gear is safe to use.
- Student Coaching: Train teams for inter-school games and track meets.
Example Skills and Qualifications
- Degree: A master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) and a teaching degree like B.Ed.
- Fitness: Needs to be active. Must know basic first aid and CPR.
