About the Role
Ambica Dhatu Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and highly competent Senior Accountant to lead and manage the company's accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in finalization of accounts, GST, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, audits, and statutory compliance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management
- Finalization of Books of Accounts.
- Preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account.
- Ledger scrutiny, account reconciliation, and year-end closing activities.
- Monitoring and controlling day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ensuring accuracy of financial records and transactions.
GST Compliance
- Managing GST compliance activities and statutory requirements.
- Preparation and filing of GST returns.
- Annual GST reconciliation and compliance reporting.
- Drafting and responding to GST notices and assessments.
- Coordination with consultants and government authorities for GST-related matters.
Income Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Handling Income Tax compliance and reporting.
- Managing TDS/TCS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
- Ensuring timely statutory payments and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting tax assessments and departmental queries.
Audit & Reporting
- Coordinating internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Preparing MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Maintaining proper documentation, records, and compliance files.
- Assisting management in financial planning and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com (Hons.) – Mandatory.
- M.Com preferred.
- CA Inter or equivalent qualification
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Finalization of Accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of GST laws and compliance.
- Strong understanding of Income Tax provisions.
- Hands-on experience in TDS/TCS compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
- Experience working with Accounting Software/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Companies Act will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 20+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience will be highly preferred.
Languages Preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary up to ₹1,00,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and expertise).
