Job Description: Role Summary:
We are seeking a Team Manager for our Taxation department. This role requires a CA-qualified professional with over 4+ years of relevant experience. The candidate will manage the taxation team, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and providing strategic tax planning and advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the taxation team.
- Assign tasks and oversee daily operations.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Tax Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
- Strategic Tax Planning:
- Develop and implement tax-saving strategies.
- Advise on tax implications of business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies and risk mitigation.
- Client Relations:
- Manage client relationships and address their tax-related queries.
- Provide expert tax advice to clients.
- Represent clients during tax audits and assessments.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on tax activities and present them to senior management.
- Maintain accurate and organized tax records.
- Training and Development:
- Organize training sessions for team members to enhance their skills.
- Keep the team informed about changes in tax regulations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience:
- Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience in taxation or a similar role.
- Proven track record in managing a team and handling complex tax issues.
