ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically astute AI & Automation Specialist to join our Transition Team. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and deploying AI-driven automation solutions for our internal processes and MIS functions. This is a hands-on role that demands both deep technical understanding of AI/automation platforms and strong business acumen to engage with AI startups, negotiate partnerships, and present compelling ROI-driven business cases to senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
AI & Automation Implementation
▸Identify automation opportunities within internal processes, MIS reporting, and operations to drive efficiency and reduce manual effort.
▸Collaborate with internal stakeholders to map existing workflows, document pain points, and propose AI-powered alternatives.
▸Stay abreast of advancements in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and automation orchestration tools.
Startup Collaboration & Partnership Development
▸Proactively scout, evaluate, and engage with AI solution providers and early-stage startups relevant to our operational needs.
▸Conduct structured assessments of startup solutions through Proof of Concepts (PoCs), sandbox testing, and technical due diligence.
▸Lead and manage end-to-end partnership discussions — from initial discovery and demo calls to commercial negotiations and onboarding.
▸Build and maintain a curated pipeline of AI vendors and automation partners aligned with Techsurance's strategic priorities.
Business Case Development & ROI Analysis
▸Develop detailed cost-benefit analyses and ROI frameworks to evaluate investments in AI tools and automation platforms.
▸Present structured investment proposals, business cases, and implementation roadmaps to the senior leadership team.
▸Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and success of deployed automation initiatives.
▸Model financial scenarios including payback period, NPV, and productivity gain metrics for technology investments.
Technical Solutioning & Vendor Negotiation
▸Engage confidently in technical discussions with AI vendors and startups during demo calls and solution walkthroughs.
▸Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, pricing structures, and partnership agreements on behalf of Techsurance.
▸Translate complex AI/tech concepts into clear, concise language for non-technical business stakeholders.
▸Ensure that solutions being evaluated or adopted align with company data security, compliance, and governance standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Educational Background:
▸ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
▸ Relevant certifications in AI, ML, RPA, or Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) will be an advantage.
Experience
▸ 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, automation, or related technology domains.
▸ Proven track record of implementing workflow automation or intelligent process automation (IPA) in a business environment.
▸ Prior experience in vendor evaluation, startup engagement, or technology partnership development is highly desirable.
Technical Proficiency
▸ Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, APIs, and integration patterns (REST APIs, webhooks, ETL pipelines).
▸ Familiarity with Generative AI concepts: Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LLM orchestration, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
▸ Exposure to low-code/no-code AI platforms and enterprise workflow automation tools is a plus.
▸ Understanding of data pipelines, MIS automation, and BI reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
