Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Presales Executive / Presales Engineer – ELV who has experience in ELV solution designing, AutoCAD designing, technical documentation, and tender document management. The candidate should be able to understand project requirements, study tender documents, prepare technical solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to develop complete project proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client/project requirements and develop suitable ELV solutions.
- Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings for ELV projects.
- Design ELV solutions for systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, Networking, EPABX, Public Address and other ELV systems.
- Read and understand ELV/Electrical drawings, BOQ, specifications, scope of work and technical requirements.
- Study and analyze tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications and scope of work.
- Review tender requirements and identify technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, compliance sheets, BOQ/BOM, system architecture and other presales documents.
- Manage and maintain all project-related tender and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, project teams and sales/business development teams for technical requirements.
- Prepare technical submissions and ensure that all required documents are submitted within deadlines.
- Support the sales team in site/project understanding, solution presentation and technical discussions.
- Review drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain proper records of all tender submissions, drawings, BOQs and technical documents.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of ELV systems and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and ability to prepare/modify ELV drawings.
- Understanding of Electrical and ELV design concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documents.
- Good understanding of BOQ, BOM, tender documents and technical specifications.
- Strong documentation and file-management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders/projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication or a related field.
- Previous experience in ELV, Electrical, Security Systems, MEP or System Integration will be preferred.
- Experience in handling tenders and presales activities will be an added advantage.
