We are looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible Playgroup & Daycare Teacher to join our school. The candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, happy, and engaging environment for young children while supporting their early learning, development, and daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate play-based learning activities.
- Care for and supervise children throughout the school and daycare hours.
- Support children’s social, emotional, language, and motor development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Assist children with meals, hygiene, rest, and other daily routines.
- Encourage positive behaviour, sharing, cooperation, and good habits.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s activities and progress.
- Maintain classroom materials, activity areas, and basic records.
- Work closely with other teachers and school staff.
- Follow all school policies and child-safety procedures.
Requirements
- Qualification in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring, creative, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to manage young children with warmth and confidence.
- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
