The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, resource management, and achievement of business objectives. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, process optimization, and team management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities1. Operational Management
- Oversee daily business operations across all departments.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and best practices.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments.
2. Project Execution & Client Management
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and address operational concerns.
- Monitor service quality and client satisfaction levels.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise operational teams.
- Set departmental KPIs and performance targets.
- Conduct performance reviews and employee development programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Process Improvement
- Analyze existing workflows and identify operational inefficiencies.
- Implement automation and technology solutions to improve productivity.
- Develop strategies to reduce operational costs and improve service delivery.
5. Financial & Budget Management
- Prepare and manage operational budgets.
- Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation.
- Track operational costs and ensure profitability.
- Generate periodic operational and financial reports for management.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems.
7. Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with senior management to develop business growth strategies.
- Support expansion initiatives and new business opportunities.
- Establish operational goals aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA preferred 3 years of operational management experience
