Financial Accounting Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Financial Accounting Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounting records across multiple entities and currencies.
- Performing bank, payment, and general ledger reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing journal entries, adjustments, financial reports, and supporting month-end/year-end close.
- Coordinating with Treasury and Operations on settlements, client funds, pay-in/pay-out transactions, and other financial activities.
- Applying sound accounting judgment, identifying control weaknesses, and recommending improvements.
- Supporting accounting automation, ERP optimization, data quality, and process improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, AR/AP, journal entries, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Experience with multi-currency and multi-entity accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across Finance, Treasury, and Operations.
Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, fintech/payments/remittance, payment processing, Treasury operations, intercompany accounting, large transactional datasets, and accounting automation.
Working hours: 4:30pm to 1:30am IST Monday–Friday.
