JOB LOCATION:- RELIANCE JAMNAGAR ONLY
The HVAC Quality Engineer - Projects is responsible for ensuring that all HVAC works on a project meet approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and applicable codes. The role covers inspection of materials, installation quality, testing and commissioning support, documentation control, nonconformance tracking, and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Review project requirements including HVAC drawings, method statements, material submittals, ITPs, specifications, and applicable codes/standards before execution.
- Inspect incoming materials and equipment such as ducts, piping, insulation, dampers, grilles, diffusers, FCUs, AHUs, chillers, supports, and accessories to confirm compliance with approved submittals.
- Monitor site installation activities to ensure HVAC works are executed as per approved shop drawings, quality procedures, and project specifications.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections for ducting, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, supports, insulation, equipment installation, pressure testing, flushing, leak testing, and balancing readiness.
- Prepare and raise inspection requests to consultants/clients and follow through until approval or closure of comments.
- Identify nonconformities in materials, workmanship, or processes and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, checklists, MIRs, WIRs, test reports, NCRs, punch lists, and closure records.
- Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to resolve quality issues without delaying project progress.
- Verify testing and commissioning records including pressure tests, duct leakage tests, TAB reports, functional checks, and pre-commissioning documentation.
- Support final inspection and handover by ensuring snag items, punch points, and documentation are closed out properly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during inspections and quality verification activities.
- Participate in audits and quality reviews and recommend improvements to installation and inspection processes.
- Provide technical guidance to supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors on quality expectations and acceptable workmanship standards.
Pay: ₹10,995.55 - ₹45,000.00 per month
