Position: District Manager – Wine Shops

Job Summary
Ashirwad Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic District Manager to oversee and manage the operations of all wine shops within the district. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring legal compliance, managing staff, maintaining inventory, controlling losses, and improving overall profitability and customer satisfaction across all outlets. The role typically includes oversight of store operations, inventory, compliance with excise regulations, staff management, sales performance, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day operations of all wine shops in the district.
- Ensure strict compliance with Excise Department regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and maximize revenue generation.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory movement, and prevent shortages, pilferage, and losses.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of all outlets.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise store managers and staff.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely stock availability.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high standards of customer service.
- Monitor cash management, deposits, billing, and financial controls.
- Implement promotional activities and sales strategies to improve business performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and security of all shops.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend measures to improve profitability.
- Investigate operational issues and take corrective actions promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Commerce, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in retail operations, liquor/wine retail management, FMCG, or multi-store operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
- Familiarity with Excise rules and regulations will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and retail management software.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the district.

Ashirwad Group is looking for a result-oriented professional capable of efficiently managing multiple wine retail outlets and driving operational excellence across the district.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
