The role and responsibilities essentially includes -
- Overall in charge of all administration and operations of inspection services
and responsible for establishing, implementation and maintenance of systems
and procedures.
- Prepare training modules along with HR and arrange training to inspection
personnel within SgurrEnergy and external organizations. Also provide training
to the technical staff. Evaluate the performance of the technical staff.
- Co-ordinate with client, QM and all QC Engineers/ associate QC Engineers to
ensure the execution of Inspection process as per system developed as per
17020 requirements.
- Review the competence of all QC Engineers and compilation of Inspection
profile and updating of records and provide the required inputs to QM / HR for
further requirement.
- Review the inspection reports issued by QC engineers/ associate QC Engineer
to ensure the quality, customer requirement and standard.
- Support SgurrEnergy management for preparation of quotations as per
contract review procedures, reviews of request for quotations and related
information.
- Preparing assignment sheets and deploy the competent QC engineers for
inspection.
- Maintain Inspector / QC engineer contracts, confidentiality agreements, and
client document
- Coordinate with QM on day- to- day activities related to including review of
inspection reports and certificate of conformity.
- Review and generate the inspection acceptance criteria if required in
consultation with client and QM.
- Review and approve the Inspection reports and NCR and other system forms
developed.
- Participate in review of complaints and appeals within an appropriate
framework to ensure there is no conflict of interest.
- Liaison with clients and consultants regarding technical issues.
- Jointly discuss the contract review form with QM and maintain the records.
- Support the other technical managers in connection with the operational
requirements, and other system developments.
- Identifies requirement for preparation of Technical Procedures and coordinate
with respective TMs to develop when required and approval for
implementation.
- Support the QM for resolving the of action of the complaints / appeals and
report if any to the management.
- Prepare and review technical documentation related to inspection services of
M/s. SgurrEnergy, as per task allotted by the QM.
- Ensure quality of the M/s. SgurrEnergy services.
- To facilitate adequate supervision of Inspectors at work, including trainees.
- To ensure that staff are aware of the relevance and importance of their
activities in achieving the Inspection Body’s management system objectives.
- Manage non-conforming work, including authorizing the resumption of work.
Communicate any anomalies regarding inspection work to the QM.
- To ensure adequate provision & availability of all specifications, guidelines and
standards- being provided to relevant personnel specifically for electrical
equipment.
- Ensure the training and mentoring of QC engineer for key electrical component
- To be responsible for preparation of all technical document, SOPs, QAP
associated with key electrical component.
- To be responsible for ensuring the data integrity during inspection process and
onsite witness.
BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience required - 8+ years of experience
Good communication skills in English
Hands on experience in solar quality, BOS, Quality assurance, FAT,etc
