Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Fighting Engineer with experience in Fire Protection Systems and Electrical Works. The candidate will be responsible for the execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire fighting systems while coordinating with electrical services on industrial and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute and supervise Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm system installations.
* Review fire fighting drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and layouts.
* Coordinate fire protection works with electrical, HVAC, and other MEP services.
* Handle sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, fire pumps, piping networks, and fire alarm systems.
* Support electrical activities related to fire alarm panels, cabling, and power distribution.
* Conduct testing, commissioning, and system handover activities.
* Ensure compliance with NFPA, IS standards, and project specifications.
* Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and material requirements.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
Required Qualifications
* B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in Fire Fighting Systems.
* Hands-on experience in Electrical Works and Fire Alarm Systems is mandatory.
* Experience in Industrial Projects preferred.
Required Skills
* Knowledge of Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, and Fire Suppression Systems.
* Understanding of electrical wiring, fire alarm panels, LT systems, and power distribution.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
* Strong coordination, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Immediate joiners or candidates serving up to 15 days notice period.
* Experience handling industrial and commercial projects.
* Willingness to travel across Maharashtra based on project requirements.
