System Administrator:
Summary
The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments (2016 onwards and above). The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of servers and related infrastructure.
Important - This position is open only to candidates residing along the Western Line of Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
Required Skills
- Installation and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
- Basic Windows Server administration.
- User account creation and password management.
- Active Directory and shared folder permissions management.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP Address, LAN, Wi-Fi, Router, Switch, Internet troubleshooting).
- Printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Wi-Fi router and network device setup and maintenance.
- Installation and configuration of desktop applications and software.
- Basic Office 365 and Outlook support.
- Data backup and restoration procedures.
- Antivirus installation, updates, and security monitoring.
- Remote desktop support and troubleshooting.
- Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Documentation and reporting of IT issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Create and manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and applications.
- Set up and troubleshoot printers, scanners, Wi-Fi routers, and network connections.
- Monitor and maintain servers, backups, and security updates.
- Perform regular system maintenance, software updates, and patch management.
- Configure and support remote access solutions.
- Assist employees with workstation setup and software usage.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
- Maintain antivirus protection and security compliance.
- Document issues, resolutions, and IT asset information.
- Coordinate with vendors and technical teams for issue resolution.
- Ensure timely closure of support tickets and user requests.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of IIS, DNS, DHCP, and file sharing services.
- Good communication and user support skills.
The scope of work is not limited to outlined herein. These responsibilities are subject to modification or expansion based on evolving business needs and requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
