Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the conceptual and detailed design of composite and metallic components.
- Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX.
- Support FEA/CAE activities (ANSYS/ABAQUS) for structural validation under guidance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and testing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BoMs, and design reports.
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
- Support prototype build, assembly, and testing activities in the development phase.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, aerospace/defense design standards, and internal quality procedures.
- Stay updated on new materials, processes, and design tools relevant to composites and mechanical systems.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5, SolidWorks, NX preferred).
- Basic knowledge of CAE tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS, HyperMesh – desirable).
- Familiarity with composite materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and drafting standards.
- Knowledge of aerospace/defense standards is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
