Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced FinOps Engineer to manage and optimize cloud costs while ensuring efficient utilization of cloud resources. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of cloud cost management, optimization, reporting and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure costs and usage.
Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization and savings.
Prepare and maintain cloud cost, usage and forecasting reports.
Analyze billing data and identify cost anomalies and inefficiencies.
Implement cost optimization strategies across cloud environments.
Manage tagging, allocation and chargeback/showback processes.
Track budgets, forecasts and cloud spending against business requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and finance teams.
Support cloud governance and ensure adherence to FinOps best practices.
Drive continuous improvement in cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in FinOps / Cloud Cost Management.
Strong understanding of AWS / Azure / GCP cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization and governance.
Good knowledge of cloud billing, reporting and cost forecasting.
Understanding of tagging, cost allocation and chargeback/showback.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience identifying cost anomalies and optimization opportunities.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Understanding of FinOps frameworks and best practices.
