Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Engineer with hands-on exposure to blown film extrusion operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating 3-layer blown film extrusion machines, troubleshooting process-related issues, and managing production activities to ensure quality and productivity targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor 3-layer blown film extrusion machines to achieve production targets.
- Troubleshoot blown film process issues and ensure smooth machine operations.
- Perform basic maintenance activities and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Handle raw material planning and availability as per shift production requirements.
- Maintain stock records of finished film rolls and ensure proper inventory management.
- Independently manage shift operations, including manpower allocation and supervision of workmen.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards and minimizing wastage.
- Perform ERP system entries related to production, material consumption, and inventory transactions.
- Operate and supervise poly bag making machines, cutting machines, and rewinding machines.
- Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of 3-layer blown film extrusion processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting blown film quality and process-related issues.
- Basic machine maintenance and preventive maintenance knowledge.
- Understanding of raw material handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and production data entry.
- Ability to manage manpower and shift operations independently.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- CIPET or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in blown film extrusion operations.
- Experience in handling poly bag making, cutting, and rewinding machines.
- Familiarity with production planning, quality control, and manufacturing best practices.
