Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Mentorship: Guide students through practical experiments, explain complex concepts, and demonstrate correct procedural techniques.
- Lab Preparation & Setup: Prepare lab materials, reagents, software tools, and specimens before class sessions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab instruments and hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols (such as OSHA or local equivalents), ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track consumables, and coordinate the procurement of supplies.
- Evaluation & Grading: Grade lab reports, pre-lab assignments, and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
