DESQOO is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee the overall operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the furniture manufacturing industry, with proven expertise in production, operations, supply chain, sales coordination, project execution, quality management, and business growth. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, profitability, customer satisfaction, and strategic execution across all departments.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management
- Lead and manage the overall business operations of the company.
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, procurement, sales, design, projects, logistics, and administration.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor daily business performance and ensure timely project execution.
Production & Manufacturing
- Oversee furniture manufacturing operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
Project Management
- Monitor the execution of furniture and interior projects from planning to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, vendors, and project teams.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
Business Development & Sales Support
- Support the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Participate in strategic planning and pricing decisions.
Procurement & Supply Chain
- Supervise procurement activities and vendor management.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Optimize inventory levels while controlling procurement costs.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage operational budgets.
- Monitor expenses and improve profitability.
- Review financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
- Ensure efficient utilization of company resources.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and employees.
- Establish performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Implement health, safety, and workplace compliance practices.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and recommend improvements.
- Prepare business reports and present operational updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the furniture manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Experience in modular furniture, office furniture, residential furniture, or custom furniture manufacturing is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹22,340.54 - ₹98,044.27 per month
