Job Title: Pediatric Dentist Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Pediatric Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs while creating a positive and comfortable experience for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage dental diseases and oral health conditions.
- Perform procedures including fillings, pulp therapy, stainless steel crowns, extractions, and space maintainers.
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Manage child behavior using age-appropriate communication and behavior guidance techniques.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals when required.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications
- BDS with MDS in Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry (Pedodontics) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Dental Council.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents.
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–5 years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry (fresh MDS graduates with strong clinical skills are also encouraged to apply).
- Experience with conscious sedation or treatment under general anesthesia is an advantage.
