1. Carton Size & Costing
- Calculate carton dimensions, GSM, and board requirements for pharma/FMCG packaging.
- Prepare detailed cost sheets for cartons, rigid boxes, labels, and corrugated packaging.
- Ensure accuracy in material consumption vs. production output to minimize wastage.
2. Product Costing
- Develop product-wise costing models covering raw materials, labor, and overheads.
- Track machine utilization, wastage, and manpower allocation.
- Provide cost inputs for quotations, tenders, and client pricing discussions.
3. Budgeting & Variance Analysis
- Prepare monthly and project budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis between estimated vs. actual costs.
- Recommend corrective measures to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production Executives to align costing with operational realities.
- Collaborate with Purchase & Store teams for material cost tracking and vendor negotiations.
- Partner with QA teams to evaluate cost implications of quality standards.
