Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, transfusions, donations, or research. The ideal candidate should ensure patient comfort, follow safety protocols, and maintain high standards of hygiene and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients at their home using proper venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Verify patient identity and label samples correctly
- Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and work area
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Prepare and transport samples to the laboratory
- Maintain accurate records of blood collection
- Handle patient data with confidentiality
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Lab Technology (MLT)
- Knowledge of blood collection techniques and medical safety standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle patients calmly
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ready to travel and vehicle is must
Preferred Experience:Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
