1. Patient Management & Customer Service
- Welcome & Direct: Greet patients, families, and visitors warmly; guide them through the registration and testing process.
- Inquiries: Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person queries regarding test availability, pricing, preparation instructions (e.g., fasting requirements), and report turnaround times.
- Patient Registration: Accurate entry of patient demographics, doctor prescriptions, and requested investigations into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
2. Billing & Financial Handling
- Billing Generation: Calculate test costs, apply relevant discounts or corporate panels, and generate accurate invoices.
- Payment Processing: Cash handling and processing payments via credit/debit cards, digital wallets, or insurance portals.
- Daily Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile the daily cash drawer/pos register and hand over accurate accounts at the end of the shift.
3. Report Dispatch & Coordination
- Report Management: Sort, organize, and hand over hard copies of diagnostic reports to patients or authorized family members after verifying identity.
- Digital Delivery: Coordinate the emailing or WhatsApp dispatch of reports as per company policy.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with phlebotomists, lab technicians, and pathologists to fast-track urgent (STAT) samples or address patient concerns.
4. Office Administration
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointments for specialized scans, home sample collections, or health packages.
- Front Desk Upkeep: Ensure the waiting lounge and reception area are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary brochures/forms.
- Data Confidentiality: Strictly maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare data protection regulations.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
