Partner Development Manager – International Markets
Location: Mumbai (India-based, supporting international geographies)
Department: Partnerships / Alliances
Reports to: Head of Partnerships
About the Role
WebEngage is expanding its global partner ecosystem and is looking for a Partner Development Manager to identify, engage, and onboard new ecosystem partners — marketing agencies, system integrators (SIs), resellers, and complementary technology players — across international markets. This is a high-velocity, outbound-heavy role focused on the front end of the partner lifecycle: sourcing and signing partners, getting them contract-ready and enabled, and handing them off to the regional Partner Manager for GTM execution.
Key Responsibilities
-
Research and map the partner landscape (agencies, SIs, resellers, ISVs) across target international markets and build a structured outreach pipeline
-
Proactively engage prospective partners — cold outreach, discovery calls, and pitching WebEngage's partner program and value proposition
-
Qualify partners based on market reach, capability, customer overlap, and strategic fit
-
Coordinate contracting workflows with legal/finance to get partner agreements signed
-
Drive partner enablement — onboarding sessions, certification, access to sales/marketing collateral and tools
-
Manage initial onboarding (portal setup, deal registration process, co-marketing kickoff)
-
Run a structured handover to the relevant regional Partner Manager, including partner profile, agreed joint GTM plan, and early pipeline
-
Maintain partner pipeline and onboarding metrics in CRM/tracking tools and report on partner acquisition velocity
Requirements
-
5 years in partnerships, channel development, or business development, ideally in B2B SaaS/martech
-
Demonstrated experience engaging agencies, SIs, or resellers, particularly in international/cross-border markets
-
Strong outbound prospecting, communication, and negotiation skills
-
Working familiarity with partner agreement structures and contracting workflows
-
Comfortable operating across time zones with distributed teams
-
Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus
Nice to Have
-
Existing network of agency/SI/reseller contacts in target geographies (e.g., MEA, SEA, LATAM)
-
Familiarity with partner enablement or PRM platforms
