Position: Microfinance Officer – Accounts

Job Summary
The Microfinance Officer – Accounts is responsible for supporting microfinance operations while maintaining accurate financial records, loan documentation, customer accounts, cash management, and daily accounting activities. The role requires field coordination, customer interaction, repayment tracking, and basic accounting knowledge to ensure smooth branch operations and financial compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesMicrofinance Operations
- Identify and enroll eligible customers for microfinance products.
- Conduct customer verification and field visits as required.
- Assist in loan application processing and documentation.
- Monitor loan disbursements and repayment schedules.
- Follow up with customers for timely repayment collection.
- Maintain customer records and loan files accurately.
- Support borrower group formation and management.
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain daily cash book and branch financial records.
- Record loan disbursements, repayments, and other transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Reconcile cash balances and customer accounts.
- Assist in bank deposits, withdrawals, and account reconciliation.
- Ensure proper filing of vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Support audits and compliance activities.
- Maintain accuracy in MIS and accounting software entries.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies and microfinance regulations.
- Prepare and submit operational and financial reports to management.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Higher Secondary (HS) / Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and accounting software.
- Experience in microfinance, banking, NBFC, or financial services preferred.

Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in Microfinance, Banking, Accounts, Finance, or related field.
- Freshers with Commerce background and accounting knowledge may also apply.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
